This item is designed to join 2 sections of curtain pole together in order to make longer pole lengths. This is achieved by pushing each end of the spiggot into the end of each piece of tube and pushing together - this can take considerable personal strength as some sizes are a tight fit. Joins in tubing are recommended (if possible) in the centre of lengths and will benefit from being supported by a bracket.
