The DME Racing Air Ram Chain Tensioner is engineered to provide consistent chain tension during acceleration, preventing chain skipping and improving drivetrain stability. Featuring a built-in check valve, this system maintains pressure on the chain even during deceleration, ensuring optimal tension at all times. This kit is particularly beneficial for motorcycles with extended swingarms and smaller rear sprockets, where maintaining proper chain engagement is critical. Originally designed for turbocharged and supercharged applications, the air ram connects to boost pressure for automatic tension control. However, it can also be adapted for use on naturally aspirated motorcycles with the addition of a pressure regulator and an external air source. FITMENT This kit must be mocked up for proper fitment/operation and welded to an aluminum swingarm by a qualified welder.* Designed for 74″ or longer swingarms.
