This oscillating master cylinder is fully mounted on aerospace-grade spherical plain bearings. Its design also allows it to enter an integral braking circuit coupling the front and rear. The Beringer floating mount rear master cylinder follows the arc of the brake pedal during the piston stroke, thereby eliminating side loads on the piston seals and offering more stroke and increased precision and feel. Beringer’s floating rear master cylinder features special piston cups that allow it to send hydraulic pressure to the rear caliper but also to receive pressure on the inlet side, from a thumb brake and send that hydraulic pressure out to the rear caliper.
