Garden Plaque or House Number Workshop at Moon Hare Studio – available for group bookings

If you would like to book this workshop for a private party of 4 – 10 people please contact Adela to set a date. Join Adela for a relaxed workshop in her friendly mosaic studio where you will learn to make your very own mosaic house number or Garden plaque approximately 15 -25cm, square or circular. No experience necessary, however it makes a great follow on course from the One Day Mosaic Workshop. You will be taught how to safely cut vitreous tiles and what adhesives and bases / substrates are suitable for your outdoor project along with many more hints and tips. You will be given the opportunity to work with cement based tile adhesive on a lightweight tile backer board choosing from a vast array of glass tiles The workshop will take place at 10am – 4pm at Moon Hare Studio, Unit 4, ND House, Tamar Way, Holsworthy Industrial Estate, Holsworthy EX22 6HL. Please wear suitable clothing and closed toe shoes. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided but please bring snacks or a light lunch if you wish. You may not be able to grout your mosaic on the day due to the adhesive needing to dry. However you will be given a grouting demonstration and  grout to take home. Cancellation policy: Full refund up to 2 weeks prior to the workshop or in the unlikely event the workshop is cancelled by Adela.
